Your Southeast Asia adventure begins today. Make your way to your home airport for your included international flight to Singapore. Flying west across the equator, you arrive into Singapore Changi Airport the same day. Make your way to the Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore where you check in for the first of two pre-cruise nights. The rest of the evening is at leisure to begin exploring the Lion City - a stroll along the Singapore River from Clarke Quay to Boat Quay, or a casual dinner at a hawker centre. Special Information:Airport transfers in Singapore are not included. Our transfer portal offers the option to book your Singapore airport transfers for an easier arrival experience (additional charges apply). Access to this portal will be available through your Traveller Hub once your booking is confirmed. Hotel check-in time is at 3pm. If arriving prior to this, you will be able to leave your luggage with hotel reception and explore Singapore until check-in becomes available. The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel's discretion.

After breakfast, your day is at leisure to explore Singapore. Wander through Gardens by the Bay with its iconic Supertree Grove and Cloud Forest dome, ride to the top of Marina Bay Sands SkyPark for sweeping views of the city skyline, or explore the colourful neighbourhoods of Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam. Lunch is best enjoyed at a hawker centre - Maxwell, Lau Pa Sat or Tiong Bahru - sampling Singapore's renowned street food. For a quieter afternoon, the Singapore Botanic Gardens (UNESCO) and the National Gallery offer cooler indoor and shaded options. Tonight, enjoy a final dinner ashore before embarkation tomorrow.

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your way to Marina Bay Cruise Terminal for cruise check-in. Once on board Westerdam, settle into your stateroom and begin exploring the ship. Take in the Crow's Nest panoramic lounge, the World Stage theatre, the Lido Market and the open-deck pools as Westerdam sails in the evening, beginning your 14 night Southeast Asia voyage. Tonight, enjoy your welcome dinner on board and meet your fellow travellers. An optional upgrade to Holland America's Have It All package is available for those who would like to add drinks, Wi-Fi, specialty dining and shore excursion credits. Special Information:Check-in at Marina Bay Cruise Terminal commences at 1pm. Transfer from the Copthorne King's Hotel to the cruise terminal is not included; the terminal is approximately 12km from the hotel (20-30 minutes by taxi depending on traffic). Port transfers can be booked separately via Traveller Hub. All guests must be on board at least 2 hours prior to the ship's scheduled departure of 5pm.

A relaxed day at sea as Westerdam cruises north along the eastern coast of the Malay Peninsula toward Thailand. Take advantage of the ship's facilities including The Greenhouse Spa, fitness centre, library and onboard entertainment, or simply find a quiet spot on deck. The Explorations Central enrichment area on board offers talks and presentations about Southeast Asia.

Arrive at Koh Samui, Thailand's second largest island and a tropical Gulf of Thailand paradise. Tender into Nathon Pier and explore the island's iconic Big Buddha temple, the Wat Plai Laem temple complex, the dramatic Na Muang waterfalls in the island's interior, or simply spend the day on Chaweng or Lamai beach. Coconut palms, white sand and warm Gulf waters make this an easy first port of call. Special Information:Tender required to access this port. Wheelchair access is limited at this port.

Arrive at Laem Chabang, the gateway port for Bangkok. With Westerdam overnighting in port, you have two full days to explore Thailand's vibrant capital, approximately 2 hours by road from the port. Visit the dazzling Grand Palace complex with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, the Temple of Dawn at Wat Arun, and the floating markets that make Bangkok so distinctive. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, the Jim Thompson House, and the food alleys of Yaowarat (Chinatown) all add to a full Bangkok day. Special Information:Laem Chabang is approximately 2 hours by road from central Bangkok. Cruise line shore excursions and shuttle services are the most common way to reach the city. Allow time for traffic.

A second full day in Bangkok. Today you may wish to explore further afield, perhaps a visit to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya with its UNESCO World Heritage temple ruins, the Maeklong Railway Market where vendors pack up as the train rolls through, or the elephant sanctuaries in the surrounding countryside. Alternatively, enjoy a final Thai massage, shopping in modern malls like Siam Paragon, or a final Thai feast before Westerdam departs in the afternoon.

Arrive in Sihanoukville on Cambodia's southern coast, the gateway to Cambodia's emerald coastline and offshore islands. Optional excursions head to Ream National Park, the offshore islands of Koh Rong, or to Independence Beach. Local cultural experiences include traditional fishing villages and Buddhist temples. Sihanoukville has developed rapidly in recent years and reflects a fast-changing modern Cambodia.

A day at sea as Westerdam cruises east across the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea toward southern Vietnam.

Arrive in Phu My, the cruise gateway port for Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), approximately 2 hours by road from the port. Explore Ho Chi Minh City's French colonial heart with the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Central Post Office and the Reunification Palace, the deeply moving War Remnants Museum, and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Outside the city, the Cu Chi Tunnels - the underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War - is one of the most visited day trips. Special Information:A Vietnamese e-Visa is required for Australian passport holders. Please apply via the official Vietnamese government e-Visa portal at least 2 weeks prior to travel. Phu My is approximately 2 hours by road from Ho Chi Minh City. Allow ample time for the transfer in each direction.

Arrive in Da Nang, the gateway to some of Vietnam's most beautiful cultural and historic destinations. Just south of Da Nang is Hoi An, the lantern-lit UNESCO World Heritage trading town with its tailoring, riverside cafes and historic merchant houses. North of Da Nang lies Hue, the former imperial capital with the Imperial Citadel and royal tombs along the Perfume River. The Marble Mountains and My Son Sanctuary (Cham temple ruins) offer alternative day-trip options. Da Nang itself offers the Dragon Bridge, the My Khe Beach and the seafood-rich riverfront.

A day at sea as Westerdam cruises north along the Gulf of Tonkin toward Halong Bay.

Arrive in Halong Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage karst seascape and one of the most photographed destinations in all of Asia. Around 1,600 limestone islands and islets rise dramatically out of emerald waters. With Westerdam overnighting in port, you have two days to explore by junk boat tour, kayak among the caves and floating fishing villages, swim in hidden lagoons, or visit the sea caves of Sung Sot (Surprise Cave) and Thien Cung. A second full day in Halong Bay before Westerdam departs in the evening for Hong Kong. Continue exploring the karst seascape, or take an excursion further afield to Bai Tu Long Bay (Halong's quieter sister) or Cat Ba National Park.

A final day at sea as Westerdam cruises north across the South China Sea toward Hong Kong, your last port of call.

After breakfast on board, Westerdam arrives into Hong Kong at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and your 14 night Southeast Asia cruise comes to a close. Disembark the ship and make your way to your post-cruise hotel where you check in for the first of two nights. The rest of the day is at leisure to begin exploring Hong Kong. Ride the iconic Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour, ride the funicular tram to the top of Victoria Peak for the famous skyline view, wander Tsim Sha Tsui or Mong Kok markets, or browse the shops of Causeway Bay. Tonight, dive into Hong Kong's world-class food scene with dim sum, roast goose, wonton noodles, or a tasting menu at one of the city's many fine-dining options. Take the cable car across to Lantau Island to the Big Buddha at Po Lin Monastery, ride the trams of Hong Kong Island past colonial-era buildings, visit Man Mo Temple in Sheung Wan, or browse the markets of Mong Kok (Temple Street Night Market, the Goldfish Market, the Ladies' Market). For an afternoon escape, take the Star Ferry to Cheung Chau or Lamma Island for a quieter side of Hong Kong with seafood lunches and traditional fishing villages.
